These are 30 minute sessions held in the Glassblowing Silo on the back lawn of the Art Center. You do not need to check in at the office inside, but staff will be available if you have any questions after 11am. Restrooms are located inside the building, and can be accessed by a key with the instructor, or after 11am once the building has opened.
All are welcome, ages 14+, to create a stemless wine glass or whiskey glass made of blown glass, that you heat and shape in your choice of colors. One person per slot, but others can watch from our shaded bleachers in front of the beautiful glassblowing silo, located on the back lawn of the Art Center.
***Items must cool slowly overnight in the cooling ovens before they are ready to be picked up. Pieces will be ready for pick up beginning Monday November 16th, 10am-2pm, or during normal business hours.
*Refunds and credits are issued only for class cancellations or postponements.
*** Cotton (natural fiber) clothing is highly recommended, and closed toe shoes are required.
