Youth Summer Camps 2026
Our popular youth camps are back for summer 2026. We will have 3 engaging camps, each with a special focus and theme. All camps will help students explore different art mediums, while inspiring their creativity and an appreciation for the world around them.
All supplies are provided, ages 7-17 are welcome. (Students will be divided into corresponding age groups.)
June 16th-18th: Bastrop Bound; exploring the beauty, history and culture of Bastrop.
July 14th-16th: From Pieces to Possibilities; Creating sculptures and learning the value of “recycled art”, turning “trash” into treasure.
July 28th-30th: Dream it Forward; Students pick a business or service they wish to pursue, and create a logo and other creative projects to realize their dreams and passions.

Teen Art Club
Our Teen Art Program has been growing strong since November 2024! Each month, teens explore a variety of creative techniques including jewelry making, painting, drawing, photography, fashion and more.
Led by artist and youth instructor, Erin Nicole, these sessions offer a mix of art appreciation, hands-on projects, and space for self-expression. Teens are encouraged to experiment, collaborate, and dive into whatever inspires them.
We explore a monthly focus while also offering an open creative studio, where artists ages 12 to 18 can explore new ideas and develop their own artistic voice using a wide range of materials and mediums.
Whether you’re just getting started or refining your craft, this is a space for freedom, creativity, and connection—designed by teens, for teens.
Every 3rd Sunday from 2–4 PM at the Lost Pines Art Center.
This is your space to create what inspires you.
Lost Pines Art Center—a place to be individually inspired to create.
Admission is free and all students are welcome, ages 13-18.

National Youth Art Month
March is National Youth Art Month, and for 2025, we are planning several activities and a youth art show to celebrate creativity and inspiration. We believe every young person is an artist at heart, whether it is in the visual, literary or performing arts. Check back here for more information.

School Tours
The Art Center offers guided tours of the gallery and glassblowing studio (schedule permitting) to schools from all around. Our tour guide gives students insight into the artists and art work that make up our expansive gallery. If glassblowers are available, we can offer students a chance to watch them work and answer questions.
