Call for Artists- Waterscapes

Our annual show, “Waterscapes”, features landscapes with natural water as the primary focus. All mediums are welcome for this curated show, including 2D and 3D (sculptural) works. The show will run June-August, with an opening reception on June 6th during Art After Dark. We welcome artists from all over Texas and beyond to show in our gallery. Please complete the application below.

Overview

Our next curated show will showcase cooling imagery of waterscapes to get us through the hot-hot-hot summer! All artists, 2D and 3D (sculptural) are welcome to submit work. Please see guidelines below.

Artists are invited to submit images of water as the dominant component, or water as a sculptural image in 3D. All styles are welcome (realism to abstract).

Qualifications/Guidelines

~ Submission Fee is $10 for current LPAC Members, and $20 for all others. *This fee covers up to 3 entries per artist.

~ Deadline to submit: May 21st at midnight.

~ Notifications to artists: May 22nd by 5pm.

~ (Accepted) Artwork drop offs: May 23rd-30th. Exact times and details will be emailed to artists.

~ Works must be original to artist submitting; no prints accepted ~ except photography.

~ Framing requirements and dimensions are listed below.

~ Works must be family friendly.

~ Selections are limited, due to space. Artists will be notified of acceptance and which piece, if any.

~ Selected work must be for sale, and artist chooses price; artist receives 80% of price. (We handle fees and sales tax from buyers.)
