The Glass Silo
The Glassblowing Silo is a unique and historical space located in back of the Art Center. The four silos here that make up “The Silo District” are original to the property and were used as grain silos in the 19th/ 20th Century. Renovation on Silo 1 was completed in the fall of 2018, and the Glass Silo has been in full use ever since. We offer 20 minute Blow Your Own Glass sessions, allowing the public to get hands on experience blowing and shaping glass into items to take home, such as flowers and sun catchers. Instructor, Mark Rendulic, teaches in, and manages the Silo, offering workshops for absolute beginners to advanced students and aspiring glass artists.
Our next Blow Your Own Glass sessions will be December 11th, 10am-1:30pm, 20 minute sessions. Click here to find out more and register.
Mark Rendulic offers private Blow Your Own Glass sessions for groups of 5 or more. These private group sessions are perfect for family, friends, events, and team building activities for your business! To schedule your own private Glass Sessions, click here.

Blow Your Own Glass Projects
“I, along with my mom and husband, attended a glass blowing/glass pulling flower making event at Lost Pines Art Center and it was simply amazing. Mark, the instructor, went through step by step on the process of making a glass flower. We were a little nervous at first, but Mark made us feel like we could conquer the world. My mom who is 76 enjoyed making her flower so so much.”~Katherine
