Sherry’s Story:

I have been painting and teaching art for many years, both with adults and children privately and in public schools. I graduated with a master’s degree in art and art history
from the University of Texas.

One of the experiences I am most proud of was teaching art as the Artist in Residence with the State of Texas. More recently I have taught pastels
to adult students at the University of Texas continuing education classes and children grades 1-5 in a private school.
I have shown in several galleries and participated in numerous shows. I have won awards for my paintings in national exhibits. In December of 2021 I was a featured artist
in the International Artist Magazine.
