Teen Drawing and Painting Exploration – 13-15 years old – June

The classes are focused on “Exploration.”

– Instructor Mark Bray will lead you to explore the basic fundamentals of drawing and painting what you see! Each session has 4 classes.  

The first 2 classes are spent learning to draw by using the “sight size” method – we explore basic shapes and their relationships to the subject as a whole – we will practice good line and shading techniques to create a realistic copy of our subject.

The remaining 2 classes will focus on painting with watercolor – the student will learn about composition, light, movement and other important factors that lead to a successful work of art.

Each 4-week session costs $95. The June session will meet from 3:30-5:30 four Thursdays in June: 7, 14, 21, and 28.  The July session will meet from 3:30-5:30 four Thursdays in July: 5, 12, 19, and 26.

This registration is for the June classes.  Please see July Registration for those dates.  If your student cannot attend all classes, you may purchase individual classes for $30 each.
