Instructor, “Lolli” Karen Knight

What brings you home?

Perhaps it’s a place you remember. A landscape, a kitchen table, a beloved person, birdsong through an open window, or that unmistakable feeling of ease, of being fully yourself and knowing you belong.

Together, we’ll enter a gentle container of imagination and journey toward HOME: real, remembered, dreamed or still becoming. Through hand movement, line, word and intuitive collage, we’ll explore the qualities that bring us home to ourselves, to one another and to the living world around us.

Drawing from the best of our childhoods, the richness of our lives today and our imaginings for the future, we’ll shape and reshape these elements through the arts, discovering what we want to nurture within ourselves and in the places we share.

Here in Bastrop, a Bird City alive with nesting, returning and migrating birds, we’re reminded that home can be a place we inhabit, return to, carry within us and continually help create.
