Our project in January (2024) is Nǒtan (technically pronounced NO-tun), which is the Japanese art of paper cutting, placing mirrored light against dark, generating fascinating designs. The technique is simple but can create some very complicated-looking pieces. Generally done in black and white, but can also be done in colors. The colored one below was actually the same design, cut in three colors, layered one on top of the other.
You are welcome to bring a friend to join in the fun. Just be sure everyone is registered so I know the amount of materials to bring to the party. Hope to see you there!
The cost is just $10 for non-Members, or FREE for Members. Pre-registration required for either, to ensure we have enough supplies.
Ages 12+ are welcome, all supplies are provided for class.
Refunds and credits are only issued for class postponements or cancellations.
