Mosaic Mirror Workshop

Participants will create an original Mosaic hanging mirror in this one day workshop. You will use a variety of colorful glass, tiles to ceramic piece’s or even stones on a preset pattern or a spontaneous creation. Students will learn about tools and cutting to create components for the mosaic.

Bridget will provide a bag of grout and will demo the simple process of adding grout to the finished mosaic. Students will be invited to complete the grout process at her studio in Cedar Creek if needed.

The result is more than just of decorative piece, its a testament to creativity, dedication and the power of art. All glass, supplies, and tools are included during the class. This finished art piece is 10″ x 10″.

Bridget’s Story:

Hi I’m Bridget Parker, artist and owner of the “B the stained glass”. I spent my childhood in Louisiana on a farm working and being inspired by nature and wildlife. As I grew older, I moved to Texas and worked in the fashion industry for 20+years wearing stilettos everyday where I learned about textiles, textures, and color design that work well together. Now I have retired after 16 years working as a floral manager designing daily arrangements and event work. All of these things have lead me to my path and passion for creating art using glass.
