Day Two: Cardinals, April 29th 10am -5pm.

Add a little springtime color to your window year-round with a whimsical sun catcher you’ve made yourself. In this 6-hour class (scheduled for 7 hours with a one hour lunch break), you will learn to cut glass, use the copper foil method to wrap the pieces, solder them together, and add a decorative wire top to hang the piece. No experience needed. Use of tools and all materials provided.
You can sign up for Thursday’s class to make a Feather with the colors of your choosing The feather represents strength and growth as well as hope and freedom. Or sign up for Friday’s class to make a whimsical Cardinal, the iconic bird of Central Texas that represents the coming of Spring and seems to appear in times of stress to encourage hope and persistence. Or, if you are so inclined, you may sign up for both classes and receive a discount.
***Refunds and credits are only issued for class cancellations and postponements.
Bridget’s Story:
Hi I’m Bridget Parker, artist and owner of the “B the stained glass”. I spent my childhood in Louisiana on a farm working and being inspired by nature and wildlife. As I grew older, I moved to Texas and worked in the fashion industry for 20+years wearing stilettos everyday where I learned about textiles, textures, and color design that work well together. Now I have retired after 16 years working as a floral manager designing daily arrangements and event work. All of these things have lead me to my path and passion for creating art using glass.
