Our next group show features the versatile medium of glass. Whether funtional, decorative, or somewhere in between, the glass arts offer inherent luminosity and reflections few other mediums can offer.

With the variety of techniques of the glass arts, including glassblowing, stained glass and mosaics, just to name a few, this show is sure to dazzle.

Application for Group Show: World of Glass

Overview

The Lost Pines Art Center invites artists to submit work for The World of Glass, a juried exhibition showcasing the beauty, innovation, and craftsmanship of glass as an artistic medium.

From traditional techniques to contemporary explorations, this exhibition celebrates the transformative power of glass in all its forms.

Qualifications/Guidelines

~ Submission Fee is $10 for current LPAC Members, and $20 for all others. *This fee covers up to 6 entries for consideration per artist.

~ Deadline to submit: August 20th at midnight.

~ Notifications to artists: August 22nd by 5pm.

~ (Accepted) Art Work drop offs: August 22nd-29th. (Exact times and details will be emailed to artists.

Accepted Mediums:

  • Blown glass
  • Fused and kiln-formed glass
  • Stained glass
  • Cast glass
  • Glass Mosaics
  • Mixed media (glass must be the dominant element)

~ Works must be original to artist submitting; no prints accepted ~ except photography.

~ Framing requirements and dimensions are listed below.

~ Works must be family friendly.

~ Selections are limited, due to space. Artists will be notified of acceptance and which piece, if any.

~ Selected work must be for sale, and artist chooses price; artist receives 80% of price. (We handle fees and sales tax from buyers.)
