Annual Louisiana and Mardi Gras Group Show

This collection will showcase the beauty and culture of Louisiana and Mardi Gras festivities.

All mediums and styles are accepted, both in the 2D and 3D formats. This is an open call, so you do not have to be a Member of the Lost Pines Art Center to submit. Submissions are juried and artists will be notified of accepted pieces on January 23rd.

The show runs from Feb. 7th-March 31st. Here are the guidelines for subject matter:

Images/Depictions of:

~ Mardi Gras Celebrations (any city in Louisiana)

~ Louisiana landscapes, food, culture, music, landmarks, historical sites, architecture

Application for L'Esprit de la Louisiane Show
This is our annual show as part of the City of Bastrop Mardi Gras celebrations that kick off the first weekend in February. The show will run Feb. 1st-March 31st, 2026. The deadline to submit is JANUARY 22nd at MIDNIGHT. Each artist may submit UP TO (3) original works for consideration. We will jury the applicants and notify the accepted artists and name of piece by JANUARY 23rd at 5pm. For questions, contact us at art@lostpinesartcenter.org.
